Tuesday 2 September

Weekly Online Breathing Class
7pm-7.40pm. Weekly virtual online breathwork class Join me every Tuesday at 7pm for a 40-minute breathing and relaxation class.

Life Drawing & Painting
7pm-8.30pm. This is an online drawing & painting session conducted via Zoom. Long pose life painting and drawing. A single pose is held for three hours with 5-minute model breaks every 25 minutes.

Socials Runs with DPR
7.30pm-8.30pm.  Fantastic local running club. Social runs every Tuesday 7.30pm at Trevor Bailey Sports Ground on the South Circular.

Honor Oak WI Monthly Meeting
7.30pm-9.30pm. The Honor Oak WI is a friendly and supportive group of women of all ages, backgrounds, and interests. We meet monthly on the first Tuesday of the month. We also have book & craft clubs, gallery & museum visits, and gentle local walks groups. September is a talk with Belinda Wahla, a complementary health practitioner, so come with your health and wellbeing questions!

Wednesday 3 September

Goose Green Coffee Morning 
11am-12.30pm. Do drop into Goose Green Coffee Morning, which is open every Wednesday between 11am and 12:30pm. It’s a great place to meet others from the local community and enjoy a coffee or tea and some cake! All welcome!

Zoom Portraiture @ Dulwich Art Group & School
2pm-5pm. This is now a hybrid session with 15 artists allowed into the studio and also cameras for artists attending through Zoom.

Thursday 4 September

BNI Adventurers
6.30am-8.30am. Part of the award-winning multi-national networking organisation, BNI, Adventurers brings together businesses local to Dulwich to pass business and keep money in the local community.

Goose Green Lunch Club
12.30pm-2pm. The lunch club is a friendly and informal club for people over 55. We meet every Thursday during term time and enjoy a delicious main course and dessert with tea and coffee for £5.

Connecting Rods: A Survey of Industry in the Niagara Region – UK Debut Exhibition
5pm-7pm. Opening Reception. Connecting Rods is a social documentary project by photographer Julianna D’Intino, ongoing since 2015. The work explores deindustrialization in the artist’s hometown, focusing on the now-shuttered General Motors Factory where both her father and maternal grandfather once worked. The exhibition traces the economic and social history of the factory, exploring the benefits and detriments to the region throughout its history. This exhibition is the UK debut of the work, and will showcase new portraits in the series, along with the full body of work. Exhibition runs Thursday 4 September to Tuesday 9 September, Open Daily 12:00 to 20:00

Friday 5 September

Lewisham Underwater Hockey Club
7.30pm-9pm. Try out underwater hockey at Forest Hill Pools every Friday evening. We’re a mixed-ability club that play for fun and exercise. Complete beginners welcome.

Saturday 6 September

Dulwich Park parkrun
9am-10am. Free, weekly timed 5k run, jog, or walk in Dulwich Park. Every Saturday at 9am promptly starting from Queen Mary’s Gate. Register once and bring your printed barcode.

Peckham Rye Park parkrun
9am-10am. Peckham Rye parkrun is a 3-lap, anti-clockwise course, entirely on tarmac, and is mainly flat, making it a potential PB course.  The start & finish are located close to the Colyton Road park entrance.

Celebrate Village Books turning 100!
9am-5.30pm. Village Books in Dulwich Village is turning 100! Come and celebrate our birthday. There will be 15% off books and stationery all day. Plu,s the first 100 book buyers will get a free £5 book token.

Men Walk Talk – Honor Oak
10am-11am. A monthly walk for men, taking in the green spaces of SE23 and the surrounding area. Traditionally, men often avoid seeking mental health support, but we provide a community of support for guys to know they are not alone and they can speak up. Join Richard for a walk and a talk on the first Saturday of every month.

Peckham Rye Park Fete
12pm-5pm. There are lots of fun activities: sack races, Punch and Judy show, coconut shy and a children’s fancy dress competition. At the dog show, prizes are awarded for categories unknown at Crufts. The Friends run stalls where you can buy cakes, tea, beer, Pimms, books and plants.

Sunday 7 September

Brockwell Park Junior parkrun
9am-9.30am. A free 2km fun run for 4–14-year-olds every Sunday in Brockwell Park. Just register on parkrun.com to get a barcode and meet behind the lido at 8:55 for a briefing.

Peckham Rye Junior parkrun
9am-9.30am. A free, weekly, timed run for 4–14-year-olds, to get fit, stay healthy, and have fun! We run 2km every Sunday at 9am, through rain and shine.

The Weekly Horniman Market
10am-3pm. Located on the Bandstand Terrace, stalls sell seasonal fruit and vegetables, artisan bread and cheese, organic meat and delicious street food.

St Clement with St Peter Dulwich Summer Fayre
11.30am-2.30pm. St Clement with St Peter Summer Fayre on 7th September from 11.30, including bouncy castle, cakes, books, refreshments, stalls and face painting, summer music and singing. All welcome.

One Tree Hill Allotments Open Day
12.30pm-6pm. The beautiful One Tree Hill Allotments site at Honor Oak will be holding its Open Day. To mark 120 years since public access to One Tree Hill was secured, we will celebrate the hill’s history in various ways, including a display and an oral history project.
