Five runners from Dulwich will each run a full 26.2 mile marathon on Saturday 20th June to raise funds and awareness for The NHS charity.

The course, when mapped out, was designed by David Robbins and spells out the letters N-H-S.

The runners are hoping to raise £10k for the NHS charity.

3 of the 5 runners were due to run this year’s London marathon which was due to take place on 26th April 2020 but has been postponed until (provisionally) 4th October 2020.  But there is a lot of doubt about whether the rearranged London marathon will go ahead, so the group decided to run their own marathon on the specially created course.

The runners will run through Dulwich, Herne Hill, Brixton, Clapham, Loughborough Junction, Peckham, Nunhead, Camberwell and East Dulwich and run past literally hundreds of local businesses.  We will also run by Kings College Hospital on Denmark Hill. Other notable places we will run by include Dulwich Hamlet Football Club on Champion Hill.
