On Saturday 23 April a new fresh food market launches in West Dulwich. Located on the corner of Croxted Road and Park Hall Road outside Dulwich Books, Jo Partridge & Topps Tiles the market will run every Saturday.
Following a survey of local residents and businesses research found that there was an overwhelming desire to shop local and for fresh produce with a high % favouring a weekly market on Saturdays. The Love West Dulwich Traders Association in partnership with Street Concepts and supported by Southwark Council are thrilled to announce this exciting development for West Dulwich.
The market is run by Street Concepts and will consist of a florist, Wild organics (organic seasonal vegetables) Parsons Nose (free range sausages and burgers), G.G Sparks free range butchers. Dairy products and fresh fish will join us within weeks.
The traders of West Dulwich are delighted that the local residents are so supportive of the market and believe that the fresh food stalls will enhance the shopping experience of West Dulwich. Sheila O’Reilly from Dulwich Books says “We are delighted to introduce new businesses to the West Dulwich area and believe that these fresh food stalls will complement the existing shops providing a greater choice for our community”.
Janine of Jaadu says “ West Dulwich is such a delightful area and our fresh food market will create an additional buzz and bring more footfall. We have received very positive encouragement from the Dulwich Estate and once their development of the old dairy is complete with the extra retail spaces, West Dulwich will be a really exciting destination for shopping.”
The market begins on Saturday 23 April at 9am and will run weekly.
