Tracy Borman: Henry VIII and The Men Who Made Him

Henry VIII is well known for his tumultuous relationships with women, and he is often defined by his many marriages. But what do we see if we take a different look? In this talk, Tracy will tell the story of England’s most famous monarch through the eyes of the men who surrounded him. Tracy Borman is a bestselling author and historian, specialising in the Tudors. She is joint chief curator of Historic Royal Palaces and chief executive of the Heritage Education Trust.

Vietnam with Max Hastings

Vietnam became the Western world’s most divisive conflict since the Second World War.  Max Hastings has spent the past three years interviewing scores of participants on both sides, as well as researching a multitude of American and Vietnamese documents and memoirs, to create an epic narrative of an epic struggle.

An Afternoon with Jacqueline Wilson

The wonderful Jacqueline Wilson is coming to Dulwich for one of only two London events this autumn. Discover how she started her writing career and created some of her most popular characters, and hear about her new book My Mum Tracy Beaker. There will be no book signing after the talk but there will be an opportunity for to ask questions.
