Love will be in the air and on the dancefloor this season as Brockley Max presents Valentine’s Day Ceilidh, a night of Celtic folk music, dancing, and tasty treats that you won’t want to miss!

On the 14th of February, the beautiful St Hilda’s Church will come alive with the much-loved return of Box of Delights Ceilidh Band, which will get your hearts (and feet) racing. Featuring live music and led by Box of Delights’ very own expert caller Katie, you will be guided through classic ceilidh [pronounced ‘kay-lee’] favourites such as the Gay Gordons and Strip the Willow from the first dance at 7:30pm

When it’s time to catch your breath from dancing with your beloved during the half-hour interval, guests can enjoy some purchasable refreshments from the bar. The bar will be stocked with beers from Brockley Brewery and soft drinks, as well as romantic bubbly and tasty Valentine’s treats that can also be preordered.

With only space for 80 dancers, get your tickets now at just £10 per person! Whether you’re a seasoned dancer or a complete beginner, this is a welcoming and light-hearted event for everyone aged 16+. So, what are you waiting for? Book your tickets, wear something to dance in and take your partner by the arm!

All proceeds from this event help St Hilda’s Church, equipment for the Box of Delights Ceilidh Band, as well as Brockley Max’s return in style for the 25th anniversary festival from 29 May to 6 June 2026.
