Award-winning term-time violin, guitar and ukulele courses now available for 4 – 11 year olds across London

London’s aspiring young musicians can experience award-winning music tuition right on their doorstep with The Strings Club’s term-time courses, now booking for Autumn 2015.

From September, The Strings Club’s 10-week term time courses for 4 – 11 year olds will take place each week at hand-picked venues in Brockley, Hampstead, Belsize Park and Primrose Hill – with even more classes added due to popular demand.

Parents can enrol their little ones into beginner ukulele or violin classes with Strings Club Minis, especially created for children aged 4-5 years in their first year of school.

Older children in Year 1 and above can join Strings Club’s Sound Start groups and choose between learning the guitar, violin or ukulele.

To celebrate the launch of its autumn courses, The Strings Club is offering complimentary taster sessions at each of the four London venues in mid-September.

Led by the UK’s leading string teachers, each lesson incorporates The Strings Club’s carefully-crafted curriculum and is packed full of inspiring and fun music tuition, focusing on musicianship, group learning and concluding with a performance each week – giving the children the chance to proudly show what they have achieve.

As partners with The Royal School of Music, The Strings Club offers only the best teaching methods in music education. Children to practice towards a prestigious Music Medal, equivalent to standard grades and count as valuable points on the National Qualifications Framework.

The Strings Club, which celebrates its third birthday later this summer, has already started gaining recognition for its refreshing approach to music tuition – not only for its term-time courses, but also for its holiday camps and fun-filled parties. The Strings Club also were awarded ‘Start-Up Business of 2013’, nominated by The Apprentice Star’s Karren Brady and recently nominated for ‘Best Musical Initiative’ at the Music Education Awards for Excellence 2014 by a panel of experts including Dr Richard Hillier, Headmaster of the Yehudi Menuhin School and Professor Barry Ife and Richard Hallam MBE, Chair of the Music Education Council.

The 10 week term-time courses start from £150, with instrument hire from just £3 per week.
