Older people in Dulwich are invited to try origami for the first time at Dulwich Library on Thursday 29th November.
Origami is the Japanese art of folding paper into decorative shapes and figures. The free class takes place on Thursday 29th November from 2-4.30pm.
The class is part of First Time for Everything, a programme designed by Royal Voluntary Service and Prudential UK to give older people in London (and across the UK) an opportunity to try something new for free in their local community. Staying active and social have been proven to be important to keeping fit and well in older age.
The class will be followed by Japanese-themed light refreshments and there will also be an opportunity to hear about other local activities for older people that may be of interest.
