Dulwich Opera Company present a brand new production of Mozart’s Così fan tutte. Dulwich Opera Company are bringing Mozart’s classic tale of love and deception to Dulwich this April. This young and vibrant company have devised a brand new production of Mozart’s comedy, following the success of the company’s debut production of Puccini’s La bohème in 2015.

Featuring a cast of young professional singers making role debuts, this production presents an elegant take on this comedy, staged in the round in the stunning All Saint’s Church, West Dulwich.

Set to some of Mozart’s most glorious music performed in the original Italian with English surtitles, and thanks to a successful Crowdfunding campaign, the company are delighted to introduce the Dulwich Opera Company Chamber Orchestra, under the baton of Music Director, Kelvin Lim.

The creative team is headed by international opera director, Ptolemy Christie, and designers, Nina Dunn and Leah Sams. Between them, they bring a great deal of experience to the production, having worked for many of the major opera companies here in the UK and abroad.

Premièred in 1790, Mozart’s Così fan tutte remains one of the most loved and performed of all operas around the world, and includes famous arias “Come scoglio” and “Un’aura amorosa”, as well as the divine trio “Soave sia il vento”. Also known as “The school for lovers”, the opera tells a wry and light-hearted tale of love, fidelity, and human infallibility.

Tickets will be available in advance from 21st February – visit www.dulwichoperacompany.org.uk for details and to book online.
