How long have you lived in the area?
3 ½ years

What brought you here?
Artist friends kept trying to persuade us to try out the area, so when an opportunity to move arose, we took it.

What do you most value about the area/street you live in?
The independent shops and sense of community.

Do you know your neighbours?
Yes (some at least).

Do you belong to any groups?
Susan belongs to Cooking with Scissors, a local networking group that meets once monthly in The Palmerston.

Describe your perfect weekend
It starts on Friday evening with a pint at Franklin’s. On Saturday after a late breakfast / brunch at home, we go out to the local shops and North Cross Road Market to stock up for the coming week. For the evening, friends might come round for dinner, or we’ll head over to the East Dulwich Picturehouse for a film. The major event on Sunday is finishing the weekly blog post, entailing Chris directing and producing a photograph based on Susan’s writing. This will either be done at home or on location in Dulwich and beyond. What truly makes it a pefect weekend is the finale: a cocktail at the House of Tippler.

Coffee or tea? Where?
Coffee at Jade, except for summertime, when it’s all about getting an affogato from Oddono’s.

Where’s your favourite place to walk?
The wondrous Peckham Rye Park.

What is your favourite shop?
For Chris it’s William Rose, and for Susan it’s Franklin’s.

What was the last thing you bought there?
Chris last purchased a Fosse Meadows Chicken, and as Susan’s been travelling for two weeks it’s difficult to say. Her last visit likely involved Neal’s Yard yoghurt, whole milk from a British farm, blue corn chips and a random new discovery.

If money was no object…
A house in Dulwich with a Tesla in the garage, an apartment on Long Island City, New York, and a small pad in Venice (on the Guiddeca).
