Gala on the Green is an annual charity ball hosted by 9 young professionals. The Gala will make its international debut in London this year after it was first established in 2011 in Australia by a group of young professionals wanting to make a difference in their community.

Guests are free to mingle in beautiful green surroundings of Dulwich Picture Gallery with bountiful drinks, edible delicacies flowing whilst being entertained into the night by live music and top DJ from The Faders. The committee is made up of both Australian and British young professionals.

Gala on the green will raise much-needed funds for two very worthwhile charities; ActionAid an international development charity who stands up for the rights of women and children to end violence around the world and The Willow Foundation, a UK national charity who offer seriously ill young adults aged 16-40 a special day out for them and their families.

The black tie ball is aimed at young professionals 25-35 years old and will take place on 12th September at the Dulwich Picture Gallery, tickets are £75 each, please visit www.galaonthegreen.co.uk for more information about ticket sales and sponsorship opportunities. Gala on the Green is really excited to be working with a local Dulwich company, Suzanne James Catering on this event.

Molly Benjamin, Co-founder of Gala on the Green ball said, “We have seen first-hand the benefits the money raised is doing for the Australian community and wish to expand this event internationally. The committee is comprised of 9 young professionals with a broad background ranging across events, finance, engineering and physiotherapy – all with a passion to achieve a common goal for charity.

‘We hope to see the success of ball grow over the years as we have seen it expand so rapidly in Queensland to become one of the premier events on the social calendar’, said Molly Benjamin.
