In Town Lecture Series – Botticelli Re-imagined
Wednesday 24 February 7 for 7.30pm. £12, £10 Friends includes a glass of wine.
Join Dr Paula Nuttall for a special insight into the background of the V&A exhibition, Botticelli Re-imagined placing Botticelli’s work in its contemporary Florentine context. She will look at masterpieces such as Primavera the Birth of Venus and The Mystic Nativity and frame these within the secular world of the Medici and the revival of classical myth.
Boticelli’s Florence runs at the V&A from 5 March – 3 July 2016.
