Angela Morris- Winmill: A Gilded World
10am-5pm Join us for our summer solo exhibition ‘A Gilded World’ in Dulwich Village which runs until 15th September.

The solo exhibition features the work of Angela Morris-Winmill an Australian artist renowned for her intricate and evocative artworks.

Tuesday 10 September

Weekly Online Breathing Class
7pm-7.40pm. Weekly virtual online breathwork class Join me every Tuesday at 7pm for a 40-minute breathing and relaxation class.

Life Drawing & Painting
7pm-8.30pm. This is an online drawing & painting session conducted via Zoom.Long pose life painting and drawing. A single pose held for three hours with 5 minute model breaks every 25 minutes.

Socials Runs with DPR
7.30pm-8.30pm.  Fantastic local running club. Social runs every Tuesday 7.30pm at Trevor Bailey Sports Ground on the south circular.

Wednesday 11 September

Goose Green Coffee Morning – Guest Speaker: Author Rachel Blackmore
11am-12.30pm.  Goose Green Coffee Morning is delighted to be hosting this talk by debut author Rachel Blackmore, who will discuss her historical fiction novel, COSTANZA, set in Baroque Rome. COSTANZA tells the story of Costanza Piccolomini, lover and muse of the world-famous sculptor Gian Lorenzo Bernini. We will be open from 11am for coffee, tea and cake; Rachel’s talk will begin at 12 o’clock. Copies of COSTANZA will be available for sale. All are welcome to this free event!

Zoom Portraiture @ Dulwich Art Group & School
2pm-5pm.  This is now a hybrid session with 15 artists allowed into the studio and also cameras for artists attending through Zoom.

An Evening with Robert Harris
7.30pm-8.30pm. Robert Harris is back with a new masterpiece… Summer 1914. A world on the brink of catastrophe. In London, 26-year-old Venetia Stanley – aristocratic, clever, bored, reckless – is having a love affair with the Prime Minister, H. H. Asquith, a man over twice her age. He writes to her obsessively, sharing the most sensitive matters of state.

BNI Adventurers
6.30am-8.30am.  Part of the award-winning multi-national networking organisation, BNI, Adventurers brings together businesses local to Dulwich with the aim of passing business and keeping money in the local community.

Outside In: A Year of Growing & Displaying with Sean A. Pritchard
7.30pm-8.30pm. Outside In: A Year of Growing & Displaying is the first book from celebrated garden designer, popular Instagrammer and advocate of English cottage style, Sean A Pritchard, showing how to plan your garden so you can display flowers and foliage in your home through the year.

From the cheery joy of early spring daffodils to the velvety richness of late-summer dahlias, the deep glow of golden autumn leaves to the optimism of late winter catkins, Sean explains how to grow, harvest, and arrange an abundance of nature’s treasure – no matter the size of your plot or your level of horticultural experience.

Friday 13 September

EDWI – Meet the Head Gardener of Hever Castle, Neil Miller
7.30pm-9.30pm. In a change to our usual weekday, in September we meet on Friday 13th September. We welcome Head Gardener Neil Miller of Hever Castle to East Dulwich. Neil will give a talk/presentation about the gardens of Hever Castle and a Gardening Q&A session afterward. Check out Hever Castle here: www.hevercastle.co.uk.

Lewisham Underwater Hockey Club
7.30pm-9pm. Try out underwater hockey at Forest Hill pools every Friday evening. We’re a mixed-ability club who play for fun and exercise. Complete beginners welcome.

Saturday 14 September

Dulwich Park parkrun
9am-10am. Free, weekly timed 5k run, jog or walk in Dulwich Park. Every Saturday at 9am promptly starting from Queen Mary’s Gate. Register once and bring your printed barcode.

Peckham Rye Park parkrun
9am-10am. Peckham Rye parkrun is a 3-lap anti-clockwise course, entirely on tarmac is mainly flat and therefore a potential PB course.  The start & finish are located close to the Colyton Road park entrance.

Sunday 15 September

Brockwell Park Junior parkrun
9am-9.30am. A free 2km fun run for 4–14-year-olds every Sunday in Brockwell Park. Just register on parkrun.com to get a barcode and meet behind the lido at 8:55 for a briefing.

Peckham Rye Junior parkrun
9am-9.30am. A free, weekly, timed run for 4–14-year-olds, to get fit, stay healthy, and have fun! We run 2km every Sunday at 9am, through rain and shine.

The Weekly Horniman Market
10am-3pm. Located on the Bandstand Terrace, stalls sell seasonal fruit and vegetables, artisan bread and cheese, organic meat and delicious street food.

St Clement w St Peter Summer Fayre
11.30am-2.30pm. St Clement with St Peter, Dulwich, Barry Rd / Friern RdEast Dulwich.
