Link Age Southwark is a vibrant local charity providing friendly volunteer support to over 700 older people and people living with dementia in our community. They work to reduce isolation and loneliness by helping those they support maintain active lives.

The charity is holding a special dinner and auction event on Wednesday 4th May at Dulwich and Sydenham Hill Golf Club to raise vital funds and help continue their work. The evening will begin at 7pm with a glass of fizz on arrival, followed by a delicious three-course meal and a live auction.

There will be an exciting array of auction promises lined up, including a week’s stay on a beautiful farm in Normandy, a virtual wine and food tasting for up to 8 people, and a portrait by award-winning artist Gideon Summerfield.

Link Age Southwark recruits, trains and manages over 450 volunteers to deliver their services across the borough, including befriending, social and exercise groups, transport, light DIY and gardening support. These services aim to improve physical and mental health, and enable older people and those living with dementia to live independently in their own homes for as long as possible.
