So much to look forward to today at Dulwich Festival!  Kingswood Arts, the former stately home of Lord Bovril, is hosting a fabulous free family day at 11am-6pm, including live music from Malphino, Cordless Kits, Kingsdale Steel Pans and De Lacy Sound.  Expect food stalls, DJs, a bouncy castle, craft stalls and face painting.  Families will also love the Wild Teddy Bear’s Picnic, exploring creepy crawlies with The London Wildlife Trust at 12-4pm in The Orchard in Dulwich Village.  Environment lovers should check out Peter Frankopan’s talk about his latest book, taking place at Dulwich College at 1pm. The Earth Transformed delves into the natural environment’s influence on global history.  Why not stick around and watch Sathnam Sanghera discuss his book Empireworld, an account of Britain’s imperial past, in all its ambiguity?  For those interested in the architecture of East Dulwich, join the Concrete & Clay:  Belvoir Road and Dawson’s Heights tours at 2pm & 4pm.
