As part of this August’s South Facing Festival in Crystal Palace Park bowl, the Crystal Palace Festival team are partnering with the event promoter to bring the best in emerging and south London talent to this historic music venue. The mid-week Sundown Sessions at South Facing are free and non-ticketed with music, film and workshops on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9 August onwards.

Noreen Meehan, Festival Director said “We are super excited to be partnering with South Facing Festival this August to bring you the best in emerging and local talent. Our Sundown Sessions kick off this Thursday 12 August with Crystal Palace Voices headlined by the soulful presence of Jack Tyson Charles. We are back in the park on Thursday 19 and 26 August with Albert’s Favourites, Andrew Ashong, Hector Plimmer, London Mozart Players, South London Youth Orchestra and Soothsayer and many more great artists. Much kudos must go to the Crystal Palace Park Trust as these free events are one of their initiatives and the funds raised from South Facing will stay in the park to deliver more for the local community.

Even more exciting is the return of live music to our beloved Crystal Palace Park bowl and we hope you will join us for these very special free Sundown shows. We are so looking forward to seeing our community in the park!”
