We don’t know what Christmas 2020 is going to be like just yet. One thing is certain, we are going to need some cheering up and we’re going to need to keep supporting others in our school community who have been impacted by the Covid Pandemic.
So this year, instead of traipsing up and down Lordship Lane looking for a Christmas tree, do something wonderful and buy a tree from the Friends of Charter School East Dulwich instead. All profits from sales will go directly to the school and specifically to help those families at school who’ve been impacted by the pandemic.
Buy Your Tree from Us and Support The School and its Families
We’ve partnered with one of the UK’s leading Christmas tree suppliers, Hole Park in Kent who grow all their trees in the High Weald AONB. They supply lots of other schools and church organisations and also supply Brockley Farmers Market.
Here’s how it works:
CHOOSE
You have a selection of 3 types of trees: the Nordman Fir (the posh premium one also known as the ‘non drop’ tree), Blue Spruce (a bit psychedelic and bluish in tone) and Norway Spruce (the traditional tree). Sizes range from 4ft, 5ft, 6ft, 7ft, 8ft or 9ft. Other sizes are available on a special order. We can also offer some Ugly Trees, one’s that haven’t quite made the grade, one’s that might be lonely this Christmas. These are a bit cheaper, prices from £20.
WHEN
Order your tree online by 12 noon on Thursday 3 December.
COLLECT
All payments for trees will need to be made in advance and trees will be ready for collection from the school on Saturday 5th December between 9.30am-12pm from the East Dulwich Grove entrance by the gym and dining room area. All trees will come in nets for easy pick up.
If you really, really are unable to pick up, delivery can be arranged at a separate cost of £3 per tree, please email us friends@chartereastdulwich.org.uk subject heading DELIVERY XMAS TREE.
