The critically acclaimed cabaret duo Kit and McConnell will host an intimate evening of cabaret at the Dulwich Picture Gallery on 24 June, in aid of baby charity The Lullaby Trust.

The pair, described as ‘impeccably stylish’ by the Evening Standard and ‘relentlessly topical, insouciant and urbane’ by The Times, will perform a set of bespoke cabaret and original comedy songs.

The evening will begin with a sparkling reception in the Dulwich Picture Gallery’s extensive grounds where guests can discover the work of contemporary artists including sculptor Peter Randall-Page.

Kit and McConnel’s intimate performance will take place in the Soane Gallery, famous for its rich red walls, pioneering top lighting, and its incredible selection of masterpieces by artists ranging from Rembrandt to Poussin. During the interval, a luxury picnic will take place in the Gallery Gardens.

Proceeds from the event will go towards vital research into the causes of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS).

SIDS currently claims the lives of around 270 seemingly healthy babies and toddlers in the UK each year. The Lullaby Trust, which has organised the event, works tirelessly to provide support to bereaved parents, disseminate safer sleep advice to new parents to help reduce the risk of SIDS, and fund cutting-edge research.
