Havelock Walk Open Studios and Havelock Walk Arts Week

Hidden in plain sight, Havelock Walk is home to a community of artists, designers and theatremakers in the centre of Forest Hill. There you will discover a cobbled mews with a delightfully incongruous mix of buildings.  Over the two middle May weekends 11/12 & 17/18 they have their annual Open Studios  – wander through the studios, chat with the artists and designers; relax in the sunshine while you watch a free site specific performance or sample some street food. Try your luck in the annual raffle – please check social media for the list of works. Between the 2 weekends they are hosting their first Arts Week with the road closed to traffic, a new art installation in the street plus workshops, talks and performances. Details can be found here: www.facebook.com/havelockwalk/events
