Monday 18 November
Joanna Lynch until 19th November
10am-4pm. Stop Making Sense is a new collection of expressive works that delves into the mutable inner landscape, celebrating its nature of change and transience. Through sensitive application of colour and energetic mark-making, each piece speaks to the dynamic inside space we hold; each gestural layer forms part of an abstract internal conversation.
Beginners Ceramics Workshop
7pm-8.30pm. Learn the basics of ceramics in this fun 4-week workshop starting on Monday 4th November to Monday 25th November. Our course has been specifically designed for beginners who are keen to learn new skills in a warm, welcoming environment.
Dulwich Womens Institute Monthly Meeting
7.30pm-9.30pm. Launched in 2018, the Dulwich WI is a supportive and stimulating group for women of all ages and backgrounds. We meet once a month at 57 North Cross Road, SE22 9ET. We would love to meet you and look forward to welcoming you to our group.
Tuesday 19 November
Bach to Baby Christmas Family Concert in East Dulwich
10.30am-11.30am. Grab your family, harness up your fastest reindeer and meet us at a Bach to Baby concert for the perfect prelude to the holiday season!
Bach to Baby is a critically acclaimed concert series for babies, toddlers and their carers. Tots dance, roam about and revel in the wonder of live music, while you take a moment out of your busy day to hear top-notch performances by outstanding musicians, with your young babes in tow.
Weekly Online Breathing Class
7pm-7.40pm. Weekly virtual online breathwork class Join me every Tuesday at 7pm for a 40-minute breathing and relaxation class.
Life Drawing & Painting
7pm-8.30pm. This is an online drawing & painting session conducted via Zoom. Long pose life painting and drawing. A single pose is held for three hours with 5-minute model breaks every 25 minutes.
Socials Runs with DPR
7.30pm-8.30pm. Fantastic local running club. Social runs every Tuesday 7.30pm at Trevor Bailey Sports Ground on the south circular.
Wednesday 20 November
Goose Green Coffee Morning
11am-12.30pm. Goose Green Coffee Morning meets every Wednesday and serves coffee, tea and cake. It’s a great place to meet others from the local community.
Zoom Portraiture @ Dulwich Art Group & School
2pm-5pm. This is now a hybrid session with 15 artists allowed into the studio and also cameras for artists attending through Zoom.
Goose Green Coffee Morning’s ‘Art in the Afternoon’
1.30pm-3.30pm. Goose Green Coffee Morning is running an extra, afternoon session to enjoy some art! Join us together with The Arts Factory for an immersive art experience using soft pastels to capture the vibrant colours of autumn foliage. Experiment with colour blending, shading, and layering techniques as we explore the beauty of fall leaves together. Perfect for all skill levels, the class provides all materials and reference sources to inspire your creativity.
Thursday 21 November
BNI Adventurers
6.30am-8.30am. Part of the award-winning multi-national networking organisation, BNI, Adventurers brings together businesses local to Dulwich with the aim of passing business and keeping money in the local community.
Goose Green Lunch Club
12.30pm-2pm. The lunch club is a friendly and informal club for people over 55. We meet every Thursday during term time and enjoy a delicious main course and dessert with tea and coffee for £5.
The Dead of Winter: The Demons, Witches and Ghosts of Christmas
7pm-8pm. Start your Christmas celebrations slightly differently this year and join us for an evening about the darker side of the festive season as Sarah Clegg uncovers the folk tales and arcane traditions that still haunt Europe’s winter months.
Friday 22 November
Carol Concert, with Dulwich College Chapel Choir
7pm. We have our annual (and much loved) Carol Concert with Dulwich College Chapel Choir and friends. It will be held in Christ’s Chapel, 14 Gallery Road, Dulwich SE21 7AS, and there will be Christmas drinks after. The broadcaster Susanna Reid and Dr Joe Spence, former Master of Dulwich College, will compere the evening and further speakers will be confirmed at the end of October. Tickets are £20 a head, and children are free.
Lewisham Underwater Hockey Club
7.30pm-9pm. Try out underwater hockey at Forest Hill pools every Friday evening. We’re a mixed-ability club who play for fun and exercise. Complete beginners welcome.
Saturday 23 November
Dulwich Park parkrun
9am-10am. Free, weekly timed 5k run, jog or walk in Dulwich Park. Every Saturday at 9am promptly starting from Queen Mary’s Gate. Register once and bring your printed barcode.
Peckham Rye Park parkrun
9am-10am. Peckham Rye parkrun is a 3-lap anti-clockwise course, entirely on tarmac is mainly flat and therefore a potential PB course. The start & finish are located close to the Colyton Road park entrance.
Energising Yoga Class Every Saturday Morning
9.45am-10.45am. Welcome to Studio Om. We are a weekly independent yoga class. Held every Saturday at 9:45-10:45am.
Yuletide Fayre
11am-4pm. Our festive Yuletide Fayre is back! The Fayre will include food and gift stalls, a festive drinks bar, live festive music, food and drink vendors, themed face painting, gingerbread decorating, children’s arts and crafts activities, kids play zone and festive fun with Tap Tap Football. Father Christmas will also be visiting for families to take photographs with.

Sunday 24 November
Brockwell Park Junior parkrun
9am-9.30am. A free 2km fun run for 4–14-year-olds every Sunday in Brockwell Park. Just register on parkrun.com to get a barcode and meet behind the lido at 8:55 for a briefing.
Peckham Rye Junior parkrun
9am-9.30am. A free, weekly, timed run for 4–14-year-olds, to get fit, stay healthy, and have fun! We run 2km every Sunday at 9am, through rain and shine.
The Weekly Horniman Market
10am-3pm. Located on the Bandstand Terrace, stalls sell seasonal fruit and vegetables, artisan bread and cheese, organic meat and delicious street food.
