This month Alleyn’s School is opening its gates and welcoming members of the public to an Open Garden Tea Party. On Saturday 15 June from 10 am to 12:30 pm explore its lush campus with a guided tour led by students. Discover the school’s heritage and landmarks such as the memorial garden and observatory deck.
It’s a chance to immerse yourself in the rich history and grand atmosphere of the school, whilst raising funds for the local charity Link Age Southwark. This is a vibrant local charity providing support to over 800 older people in Southwark who are feeling lonely or isolated. Link Age Southwark is one of Alleyn’s Parents Association’s chosen charities this year.
At the event, guests can indulge in a selection of tea, coffee, and cakes, amidst the backdrop of the vibrant flower garden. Whether you’re a local resident or a visitor eager to discover a hidden gem in London, Alleyn’s Open Garden is a perfect opportunity to see the site and get to know the local community.
Join us on Saturday 15 June at Alleyn’s School, Townley Road, East Dulwich SE22 8SU, with a recommended donation of £5 to experience the charm of Alleyn’s.
