Murder in the Cathedral Image Alone

The Dulwich Players next production, T. S. Eliot’s Murder in the Cathedral, will be performed in St. Bartholomew’s Church from 11-14 November.

Murder in the Cathedral will bring the dark and dangerous world of medieval England to St. Bartholomew’s, Sydenham. Candlelight and live choral music will provide the atmospheric setting for Eliot’s verse drama that dramatically tells the story of the assassination of Archbishop Thomas Becket in 1170. Eliot’s play is an extraordinary and moving look at events we know all too well. His play weaves beauty with horror to produce a visceral and compelling tale.

St. Bartholomew’s Church, 4 Westwood Hill, Sydenham SE26 6QR. 11-14 November at 8pm. The nearest station to the church is Sydenham.
