Head on down to Green Street Green, Orpington on Saturday 10 June 2017 for St Christopher’s Food Festival & Wild West Fair. From 11am until 4pm the hospice’s summer fair will feature a wonderful array of street and artisan foods for sale, fun-filled western-style entertainment and, an ever-popular dog show.

A Rodeo bull will entertain wannabe-cowboys and children will love western-themed games such as ‘tin-can alley’ and ‘cactus’ hoopla.  There will also be a bouncy castle assault course, pony rides, and entertainment in the central arena all day, including Lindy Hop dancing and a magic show.

The always entertaining dog show will be at 3pm and costs £3 to enter, per category. Prizes will be awarded to the winning dogs, including for the ‘waggiest tail’ and ‘most handsome dog’.

Visitors can wet their whistle at the Pimms and beer tent, or visit one of over twenty food and drink sellers that will be on the Green, many offering award-winning goods. Fresh food will include Venezuelan street food, wood fired pizzas, American frontier food and strawberries and cream. The Food Festival is being generously sponsored by Riverford Organic Farmers, who will also have a stand on the Green.

Jo Mowbray, community fundraiser at St Christopher’s says, “This year our summer fair has a Rodeo bull, pony rides, delicious food and drink and a dog show! What more could you want from a great day out? Please come and make the day a great success and help us raise lots of money to provide excellent end of life care and family support in our community.”

St Christopher’s Wild West Fair and Food Festival will be held at The Green, Green Street Green, Orpington, Kent BR6 9NL. Suggested entry donation is just £2 per adult (children free). Parking is available on site.
