London’s favourite and most ethical treetailer The Christmas Forest has ten pop-up festive, farm-like stores across London.  From the end of November they will be selling a fabulous selection of sustainably grown, freshly cut Christmas trees that don’t drop their needles and that will look beautiful throughout the season.   There will be different varieties including potted living trees and a huge range of sizes all displayed in a forest-like setting.  All their trees are sustainably grown and mainly from the UK to save on ‘tree miles’ and their shops are set up in a way to give customers and families a wonderful Christmas experience.  Holly, wreaths, mistletoe and treats for the kids too!

For every tree sold, The Christmas Forest donates to plant a tree in the African drylands through Tree Aid.  205,206 trees planted to date, changing lives for thousands of some of the most deprived and families in the world.  Come and wander through and pick your perfect Christmas tree and enjoy an extra festive glow knowing your trees means life, not just Christmas or log on and have a beautiful tree delivered right to your door, with another planted in the African drylands.

‘Before, we did not know why trees were important.  My children were often hungry and we had no way to make money when our crops did not grow.  Thanks to our trees our bellies are now better fed and I cans sell fruit in the market.  I can buy pens for my children so they can go to school.  Tree Aid has helped us understand how we can stay in our village and build a future for our children.’ Ama Yahya, Bankass, Mali

‘The Christmas Forest partnership withTree Aid is supporting communities living in some of the harshest places on the planet to turn their lives around using trees.  We are delighted with their ongoing support of families living in extreme poverty.’ John Moffett, CEO Tree Aid.

‘Although every tree we source is replaced by another at a tree plantation, I wanted to go further and give back more. Tree Aid really impressed me.  In Britain we appreciate trees for their beauty but perhaps we take them for granted: in Africa trees really do mean life for people.’  Kelty Caston, Christmas Forest.
