‘A Trip to the Park’ Limited Edition of 95
Artist Samantha Barnes is opening her portfolio and paint boxes in The Pavilion Café in Dulwich Park, during the Artist’s Open Studio weekend of 7/8 & 14/15th May.
“There is so much inspiration for me to paint from in the park” says Samantha “I love to watch dogs playing, children having tantrums , couples smooching, runners doing their thing, families and friends spending time together – it all happens here in the park”.
This exhibition marks a return to Dulwich for Samantha who now lives in Woodbridge, Suffolk with her family. “We loved living here, it’s where we had our babies and the local area offered us so much in the way of friendship & opportunities” Although it was a sad leaving, we are now happy in Suffolk and have found our mojo’s again.
This exhibition brings it full circle again for Samantha, who is delighted to return with her found success.
Samantha will be live painting at The Pavillion Café, from 11am – 4pm on Saturday & Sundays 7/8th & 14/15th. Live painting is a passion of Samantha’s. It creates interest and encourages creativity in children, adults and families. She is happy to answer questions and share painting tips with passers-by, giving something back to the community.
