This year make your Christmas tree count more than usual.  If you are searching for an ethical Christmas tree this year why not try The Christmas Forest in Dulwich?  Supporting Tree Aid since 2006 with the sale of their sustainably sourced trees, for every one sold they donate to plant a tree in Africa. So far over 100,000 trees have been planted in Ethiopia, Mali and Burkina Faso, changing lives for thousands of families who rely on these trees for their livelihoods.

‘Although every tree we source is replaced by another at a tree plantation, I wanted to go further. Tree Aid really impressed me.  In Britain we appreciate trees for their beauty but perhaps we take them for granted: in Africa trees really do mean life for people.  It has been a good partnership and has made me, my employees and hopefully customers feel good about helping those whose lives are much more challenging than our own.’  Kelty Caston, The Christmas Forest

They have five varieties of trees and a huge range of sizes including the popular non-drop Nordmann fir, the traditional pine-scented spruce, the beautiful and elusive Noble fir, the US’s number one selling slender, silvery green Fraser and re-plantable potted living trees.  Beautiful hand-picked trees at affordable prices that last all season.  Prices start at £18.
