East Dulwich student Eddy Pearson showcased his creativity at the annual Art Exhibition hosted in DLD College London’s stunning atrium.

Eddy, (19), has recently completed his Art Foundation Programme at the Westminster Bridge based college and passed with a distinction.

The artist showcased a collection of intricate and colourful paintings which generated a great deal of interest from guests who enjoyed an evening filled with fine art, cheese and wine.

A variety of mediums were on display throughout the college which included photographs, paintings, drawings and 3D projects.

Eddy, who will be attending Glasgow School of Art to study for a Fine Art degree commented: “This full-time course has allowed me to develop my skills and ideas in a highly independent and creative way, beyond my A-Level Art training. I now feel I have developed my skills, ideas and understanding so that I will be really prepared for my Fine Art Degree studies when they start in September.”

Principal Rachel Borland commented: “Eddy has shown us he has an eye for creating thought provoking but beautiful paintings and other concepts. He was immensely proud of this collection and it was very popular with the guests.

“This Art Exhibition was a fantastic opportunity for us to showcase the incredible talents that our students possess. There was such a variety of creations on show which was fascinating. This event is a brilliant way to let the students’ creativity shine and for them to give an insight to their personalities.”
