Get up with the lark and join the London Wildlife Trust for an early morning bird walk in Sydenham Hill Wood for the Festival’s Dawn Chorus Walk. You’ll be looking and listening out for the many species of birds who use the woods at this time of year. Meeting at 6am, you will have the opportunity to tune into the aural ambience of this special landscape.

The Love West Dulwich Fair provides great fun for the family, celebrating the uniqueness of SE21, its people and interesting mix of independent businesses, combining art, culture, fashion and fun. From 10am-5pm, activities on offer are market stalls, arts and crafts, maypole dancing, face painting, street food, fair rides, farm animals, live music and in-store activities.

It’s the second weekend of Artists’ Open House. With over 250 artists participating, don’t forget to find some time over the weekend to visit them.

The Harlem Meer Cats was formed after an opportunity to play at the 2014 Dulwich Festival and their concert, The Harlem Meer Cats: Jungle Nights in Harlem, led by Ned Bennett, will bring the unique sound of the Duke Ellington band of the late 1920s to Dulwich. Six of the finest early jazz specialists in London, they will be performing authentic adaptations of classics such as Black and Tan Fantasy, Echoes of the Jungle, Jubilee Stomp, The Mooche, Old Man Blues and many more to really capture the atmosphere of New York’s legendary Cotton Club. Hear this lively concert at Holst Hall, JAGS at 7.30pm.
