The Crafty Fox Market is returning to its Peckham home, the CLF Art Café part of the iconic Bussey Building, for the autumn market on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th October.
Peckham’s Crafty Fox will be a free event featuring an inspiring line-up of over 55 creative traders selling an exciting range of art prints, homeware, ceramics, textiles, jewellery and gifts. As always the Crafty Fox will be offering a different batch of makers each day.
The market will also include an Uncovered selection introducing new design talent. This scheme supports makers who have been in business for less than 12 months, introducing new designers for shoppers to explore as well, while giving a helping hand to new brands.
The Crafty Fox will also bring its usual mix of creative maker-led workshops, live music and tasty refreshments.
The Peckham autumn edition has been curated by special guest Carrie Maclennan from the Not The Kind gift shop; who has joined up with the Crafty Fox team to help choose the line-up of sellers for the event.
Carrie has been chosen as the guest curator for the Peckham market as she been proving her impeccable taste for over 10 years, championing independent design as one half of creative duo, Made in the Shade until 2012. She also co-founded one of Scotland’s most popular indie shopping events and was co-owner of Glasgow’s much loved design gift shop and gallery, The Maisonette. She’s helped promote the work of hundreds of artists and designer makers from all over the UK and beyond.
More about the Crafty Fox Market: The Crafty Fox Market was established as a social enterprise and creative community for contemporary craft sellers. It was launched by Sinead Koehler with an aim is to provide an affordable way for designer/makers to bring their products to the public. Since its launch in 2010, Crafty Fox Market has been shaking up the traditional craft fair with weekend events attracting upwards of 4000 shoppers.
