After a year of sell-out events, the entrepreneurial team behind The Little Disco Company continue to organise CLUB LOCAL nights, a “not to be missed” dance event, aimed exclusively at all those grown-ups who’d love a good night out, dancing to their favourite tunes, but can’t quite face the trek into town, to party with hipsters half their age!
In keeping with the founders’ South East London roots, the first Club Local sold out within 5 days and took place in February 2016. The organisers, have fine-tuned the events since the start and have introduced a CLUB LOCAL 80s 90s Pop, Funk, Soul and Disco night as well as their regular CLUB LOCAL nights, which are more ‘clubby’. The next 80s & 90s night is on Friday 3rd February, at The Lodge upstairs at the East Dulwich Tavern in SE22 and is aimed at likeminded locals who will appreciate a good night out on their doorstep!
Craft beers and a great selection of wine will be available at the bar… and everyone gets a glass of Prosecco upon arrival!
Having lost so many legends of those decades in 2016, CLUB LOCAL will celebrate the lives of George Michael, Prince and David Bowie on the night, using some awesome audio visuals to take you back to the days in front of MTV.
And if this isn’t enough of an incentive, the appeal of not having to get an expensive taxi at the end of the evening to get home and not having to spend the night with people who weren’t even born in the eighties is surely a tantalising proposition!
