There is plenty of entertainment to keep the children enthralled this year; the Children’s Concert at 11am on Saturday 16th May in All Saint’s Church, West Dulwich, will draw a proud crowd of mums and dads (and grans and granddads). Later that afternoon, N.S Blackman, the author behind the popular Secret Dinosaur series of children’s books flying in fresh from a children’s book fair in Los Angeles to give an exclusive preview of the latest in the series at 2.30pm.
Children and adults alike will delight in ‘The Origin of Species’ show, coming to Belair House, Gallery Road at 4pm on Sunday 17th May. This action-packed show tells the story of Charles Darwin as the first part of Tangram Theatre Company’s trilogy of scientific musical comedies and features big theories, terrible puns, brilliant physical comedy and six cracking original songs about everything from blasted boring barnacles to the perils of marrying your cousin.
