West Dulwich played host to a Christmas fair with a difference on Saturday 28th November with markets and live entertainment taking over the streets of West Dulwich and some very special visitors taking in the festive fun.
Father Christmas and actor Pierce Brosnan himself all came, along with hundreds of West Dulwich families, to shop local and soak up the Christmas atmosphere. Added cheer was provided by the wonderfully sparkly Miss Christmas and friends who danced and sang for all to enjoy, the magical Whippersnapper’s Santa’s Grotto at Alleyn Park Garden Centre and the wonderful carols and songs from the South London Youth Theatre, Dulwich Opera Company, Concordia Chamber Choir and Friends of Dulwich Wood Primary Choir in the entertainment tent.
Meanwhile, East Dulwich hosted a festival with all the trimmings when the Christmas Cracker returned for its fourth outing on Saturday 5th December. Over 4000 locals and visitors were on the streets of East Dulwich to soak up the atmosphere and enjoy an array of festive fun.
